Account Managers - Central and Eastern Iowa

Overview

In this role, you will help us create happy clients by providing support to sales activities while learning all aspects of Business Development. An Account Manager needs to be both business and networking minded while you grow your professional network and actively assist in growing design and signage sales volume for the team.

Effective communication skills are critical in this role. From a myriad of client personas (architects, facility managers, marketers, etc) to the internal production team. The ability to communicate (in person and virtually) with people at all levels is essential.

A creative and technical mind, outgoing personality, and hard-working spirit will get you very far in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ability and interest to quickly learn the company’s product and services capabilities, including understanding materials, construction, and manufacturing processes.

Work collaboratively with Business Development Manager in support of pre-sales activities including location measurements, graphic requests, message schedules, location plan, quotations preparation, city permits, handling of client revisions, and research reorder parts.

Drive and interest to come up with ideas and solutions to achieve client goals with the end result of happy return customers.

Great customer communications via the phone, e-mail, and/or meet in person as necessary to confirm sign details such as dimensions, product, colors, font, etc.

Willing to provide sales support activities including presentation materials, marketing activities, tradeshow coordination and set up.

Accompany the Business Development Manager on sales calls as needed.

Convey product and installation specifications to project management staff in an organized manner that aide in creating production and installation documents.

Eventually leading and coordinating pre-installation and pre-production meetings with all necessary departments.

Adheres to general company policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.

Handle other duties that may be assigned by sales consultants or project managers from time to time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graphic design, interior design, marketing, communications, or business major preferred.

Must have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, and be organized, detail-oriented, customer service, and quality-driven.

Experience in architectural, engineering or construction field is ideal.
